Some disadvantages are that the wind is not constant, wind turbines do not produce the same amount of electricity all the time, sometimes there would be a time when there is no electricity at all, the wind turbines are noisy, the huge blades pose a danger to birds, wind turbines cannot be placed near cities because of the noise, and right now the wind power costs more than fossil fuel energy.
