11 www.sifassociation.org Copyright © SIF Association Implementation Task Force Implementation Task Force Mission Statement: The mission of the Implementation Task Force is to structure customer and educator involvement in successfully implementing the SIF Specification. This would include, but not be limited to, evangelizing the initiative, making presentations, locating educators for working groups, assisting with the implementation of services to schools, school districts and states and otherwise building relationships among vendors and the pK-12 community. The current objectives of the group are: –Development of implementation tools –Advanced Concept collection –Work with EAP, Vendor Members and Partners to promote the use of SIF –Work closely with the Features and Functionality Task Force and Tech Board –Clearing house for RFP’s, Business & Use Cases –Determine Strategies of use for tools, training and potential certifications for commercial integrators, school districts, state and regional entities –Oversight of Official SIF Reference and Testing Sites
