Inspiration allows you to enter information in 2 ways: Diagram Outline To switch between the diagram and outline view anytime, all you have to do it click on the Diagram or Outline button in the top left hand corner of the menu bar. You can switch back and forth as many times as you like without loosing your work.

7. Start Your Diagram Step 1: Enter your main idea Start typing your idea into the Main Idea symbol. Now you're ready to add topics that expand or explain your main idea.

8. Diagram Step 2: Expand your thoughts There are 2 ways to add ideas: Click “Rapidfire” and simply continue your thoughts Put your ideas in the main bubble, then click enter when you have finished your thought. Continue to add ideas and your diagram will grow!

9. Diagram Step 2: The second way to add bubbles is…. 1. Click “Create” 2. Then click “Link” 3. If you would like, you can also click “Arrange” to assemble your diagram.

13. How to make an Outline Step 1: Click on the outline icon in the left hand corner of the menu bar. Step 2: In the main menu click Topic Step 3: Then Click Subtopic to explain your topic. *Keep adding subtopics untill you reach your goal

14. Switching from Diagram to Outline On the main diagram toolbar, click the outline button. On the main outline toolbar, click the diagram button. One of the cool things about Inspiration 9.0 is that you can switch to outline view after you make a diagram or you can switch from outline view to diagram after you make an outline!

15. Troubleshooting If the program is not working: 1. Reboot the computer 2. Try it on another computer 3. Ask Rebecca, Elizabeth or Kirsten for help
