Air Pollution Weather Project By Shaurya Kumar

Cause and Effect Effect Some effects can be serious such as respiratory infection, lung cancer, Tuberculosis, Asthma, Risk of burns, the quality of life can decrease, lack of resources, inadequate ventilation, and unsanitary conditions. Cause Burning of fossil fuels, chemicals emitted into the air from factories and chimneys of major power plants. Finally, Aerosol can sprays such as, hair spray, perfume, deodorant, etc. &

How does Air Pollution Form? ●Most Air Pollution Is Man-Made ●Most of Air Pollution comes from the burning of everyday fossil fuels for energy. ●Chimneys in Power Plants and Factories that manufacture or construct items play a big role ●Aerosol Cans release chemicals which destroy the ozone layer ●Rubber from Tires and other objects burning ●Finally, Wood burning releases nasty chemicals which also affects the environment

The Negative Side of Air Pollution There isn’t a positive side to Air Pollution, except for the fact that the effects or consequences of Air Pollution get people aware to never do the things they do in the first place to cause this. Air pollution affects our daily lives, whether it be via birth defects, or minor burns. Because of Air pollution, most of the world is unsanitary. devery alley, or road, or highway you go on is bound to have litter on it. This exact litter pollutes the world later on in the cycle. The chemicals get emitted into the air because of waste factories that burn this very litter. If we could just let the waste products of the earth go, and not mess with them and build products with them, our planet might actually be stronger and more of a luxurious place to live.

Definition The definition of Air Pollution is the introduction of a harmful substance that is in the flow of air. It is a substance that is harmful, introduced to the air.

Real World Examples A real world example would be when someone uses deodorant or perfume, or hairspray, that contributes to the harming of the air and the ozone layer. In china, factories pollute the environment with chemicals, because that’s where all the major production of items happen.

Prevalent Location Air pollution can happen anywhere, anyplace, at any time. There is no certain location for where it occurs and happens because of chemical being emitted into the air/environment. Air pollution contributes to Global Warming. Greenhouse Gases also pollute the environment and are emitted into the air.

Seasonal Air pollution is not seasonal. Air pollution, like mentioned in the slide before, happens anywhere, at any given time….Therefore, Seasonal effects do not alter this crisis. Air pollution does not go away one season, and come back another, it is constantly there, and can actually change the climate and weather.

Did You Know/Facts ●Inhaling Air Pollution takes away at least 1-2 years of a person’s life ●Air Pollution can cause burning eyes, itchy throat, and death ●A new disease has developed because of Air pollution, Beijing Cough ●8000 people died in 1952 because of the Great Smog of London ●Toxic Air pollution is a bigger threat to children because of their lung capacity ●The Air Pollution formed in Chinach can reach the middle of California ●Over 50000 people die every year because of Air Pollution ●People in many countries have to wear masks to shield themselves from Air Pollution ●It is estimated that by 2050, 6000000 will die every year because of Air Pollution
