20 Alphabet of Lines  In Drafting, or Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) -- the alphabet of lines are the different used when constructing a drawing  A thick solid line is called an object line and represents the outline of a part on a drawing.  A dash line represents an edge that is not visible in a particular view, hence it is called a hidden line.  Other common lines used in drafting include dimension lines, extension lines, construction lines, border lines, center lines, among many others depending on the type of drawing.

33 Building Code  State and local building codes  Building Permits documents issued by a city's planning department to oversee and approve any changes to structures Pulled by individual home owners, contractors, architects, etc. Ensure that you are in compliance with building codes

34 Building Code  State and local building codes  Variances Permit issued by the city or state that allows some sort of a violation of the building code For example, the town may decide to allow a house to be built on a lot with 190 foot frontage when the building code requires 200 foot frontage. The process for obtaining a variance includes a study of the request and how it would impact the neighborhood The neighbors are given notice of the request and the opportunity to file any objections
