This class will mostly be EVIDENCE-BASED. Using evidence from reliable text to help support learning.

Will be assessed through an objective test within the first few days of school)

5. 9th Grade Honors English
If you are interested in seeing the requirements for Honors English next year visit….
Must earn an "A" or "B" average throughout this year.
Must achieve at LEAST a 10th grade level on the Gates MacGinitie Readability test.
Must also complete the writing samples that will be evaluated by the middle school staff and the high school staff. *On website
Must complete Summer Reading going into freshman year.
