3. Austria–Hungary declares war on Russia Because the Archduke was assassinated. The soldiers used new methods of warfare such as trenches and air attacks.

4. America would try not to take sides in the war but many Americans disliked the German government because it was not a democracy.

11. The League of Nations helped keep peace and was founded just after the war.
