6 Medicare Rights Center Role in SHIP TA Center The Medicare Rights Center has been helping people with Medicare understand and navigate the Medicare system since 1989 As part of the SHIP National Technical Assistance Center, they: Serve as Medicare subject matter experts for SHIPs Provide direct Medicare subject matter technical assistance to SHIPs via medicarehelp@shiptacenter.orgmedicarehelp@shiptacenter.org Provide Medicare Minutes at no cost to SHIPs Produce the SHIP TA Center’s online counselor training and certification tools 6

7 About Questionmark Produced by the previous National SHIP Resource Center Re-established by the current SHIP TA Center Intended as an interim Online Counselor Certification Tool (OCCT) Will be replaced by a new OCCT in the autumn of 2015 7
