2. Introduction  iTunes is an application used to purchase, organize, and play music on Apple products such as the iPod, iPhone, and iPad  This tutorial is for anyone that wants to get acquainted with iTunes

3. Step 1  Visit http://www.itunes.com/overview/to_downloadhttp://www.itunes.com/overview/to_download

4. Step 2  Install the latest version of iTunes by clicking the link on the bottom left hand corner of the overview page

5. Step 3  After installation, click on the iTunes Store menu bar option on the left hand side of the start up page

6. Step 4, 5, and 6  You can personalize your own search by typing the artist or song name you wish to download  The search pulls up all the songs related to your inquiry, and offers a 30 second demo of the song  To purchase the track, simply click the buy now link to the right of the track

7. Step 7  If you don’t have an iTunes account, you can create a unique user name at this time

8. Step 8  Next, you will be navigated to the payment preference page to set up your account information

9. Step 9  Finally, after you purchase the song, it will automatically import the downloaded song into your music library
