Lost it’s niche as the #1 selling portable MP3 Player. iPod Economy – Expected that 75% of iPod owners purchase at least one accessory for their iPod. – 30 Million accessories sold. – iPod Economy from well over $300 Million and as high as $6 Billion.

iTunes To understand the iPod you must first know about iTunes. Application developed by Jeff Robbin and Bill Kincaid in 1999 its original name was SoundJam MP. Apple purchased application in 2000. Released as iTunes in January 2001. Began iPod Support in version 2.0 in November 2001.
