Grading of notebook When grading the notebook –all materials need to be in the assigned places or grade will be reduced First Notebook review will be Aug. 31 –(will not be graded but will be part of your participation grade) Notebooks will be graded 4 times during the semester Unannounced notebook checks can occur throughout the semester

10. Making tab labels If you have purchased the Avery 23285 WorkSaver 8-tabs. You can go to the class web site and download the pre-made labels for the tab labels sheet that comes with the tabs. To print tabs you will need to setup the printer. Or you can go to Avery’s web site: www.avery.com/us/print/

Grading Having your name on the notebook –on the front and on the spine –This includes the name of the class Everything is 3 hole punched –points taken off if things are just placed into the notebook Completed assignments are in correct section –points will be taken off if completed paper/pages are in the wrong section

14. Grading Missing material –the point of having a notebook is to keep information together. –Points will be taken off for each paper/page not found in notebook - no excuses! Misplaced material –the notebook is to organize your material for class and studying. Not having all material in the notebook will result in loss of points.
