All three have the features listed. The USB ports, CD quality audio, and 30 frame per second video ensure they can handle any multimedia applications or peripherals available today or developed in the future.
All products in the Sun Ray appliance product line are designed to never need upgrading or maintenance. Sun Rays contain no moving parts and are extremely energy efficient. All 3 are silent and equally simple to install and use.
As we've mentioned before, function of the Sun Ray appliance is acting as a human interface to the user's computing session residing on the server. No desktop administration is ever needed.New features and capabilities may be added by updating the software on the server without ever touching the desktop units.
What's the difference between the 3? If you have monitors already or use large specialty monitors, Sun Ray 1 is a good choice. Sun Ray 100 and 150 come with a monitor and are both designed to be space savers. The 150 has a flat 15" LCD screen and can handle 1024 X 768 resolution. The Sun Ray 100 has a 17" CRT screen and can handle full resolution.

So here is a complete solution using Tarantella as the Integration service.
Note that all of the applications are run on servers on the left hand side of the diagram. These servers will be based upon a variety of architectures.
A user sits at a Sun Ray on the right hand side and runs applications delivered via Tarantella.
Tarantella will deliver that application to any device via a bandwidth aware protocol AIP. This means that applications can be delivered to a vartiety of devices over any network connection.
Note that all applications run unchanged.
Note also that no additional software needs to be run on any of the application servers or the clients.
Note that the solution is a complete environment. Mail, Calendar and Office
productivity as well as bespoke applications are delivered to any device.
