2 Sport in Stonesfield School Minimum of 2 hours of PE per week delivered by Teachers, PE Specialists and Coaches Intra- School Competition(level 1); last year this included Sports day and a KS2 Kwik Cricket competition Inter-Schools Competition (level 2); last year the school competed in 16 out of 18 sporting events Culmination of inter-school competition (level3); last year children competed in Tag Rugby and Cross-Country

3 Additional Sporting Opportunities Gifted & Talented programme for Year 6 children Active Girls programme for Year 6 children National Sports week; Olympic Legacy Day, Sports Day, ‘fun morning’, intra-school competition, specialist led sport such as, kwik cricket Change4life club Young Leaders

4 Change4life Part of a public funded programme run by Department of Health to reduce obesity Primary schools are ‘local supporters’ funded by DoH and managed by the Youth Sports Trust Aimed at 7-9year olds Cool Club: meet on Fridays 11.45-12.45pm

6 PE Premium £8,000 pa plus an additional £5 per pupil (calculated on pupil role in January and made in 2 instalments) David Cameron has made a commitment until 2020 Schools must spend the funding to improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils, but they are free to choose the best way of using the money. hire specialist PE teachers/sports coaches to work with teachers provide existing staff with teaching resources to help them teach PE and sport support and involve the least active children by running or extending school sports clubs, holiday clubs and change4life clubs run sport competitions or increase pupils’ participation in the School Games run sports activities with other schools.
