13 Cloud computing, new devices, multi-platform designed software makes it possible to replace network and workstation installed software with web or cloud based applications. Advantages: Users regardless of their device can use the same applications. Reduce maintenance: Any changes made to a product only need to be made once. Now changes need to be made on every server and workstation. Less equipment and energy costs.
