2 PRESENT SIMPLE (VS, DO/DOES V)

3 PRESENT CONTINUOUS (is/am/are Ving)
Personal plans (you've arranged it and you can change the arrangement) I'm playing football with Sue tomorrow morning.

4 MODAL VERBS may/might + V

5 TO BE GOING TO + V Intentions (which may not come true)
I'm going to watch this film next Sunday. Predictions based on evidence. (You observe present situation and come to a certain conclusion.) Look at those clouds! It's going to rain!

6 FUTURE SIMPLE (WILL+V)
Sudden (spontaneous, on-the-spot) decision A: Phey, this bag's heavy. B: I will carry it for you. Promise/intention. I'm sorry, I've forgotten your book today, but (I promise) I will bring it tomorrow. Predictions based on opinions and beliefs (It's just one's opinion but it can't be proved) I think we will not use washing machines in 2400. Requests and offers. Will you open the door for me?

7 FUTURE CONTINUOUS will be + Ving
Prolonged activity in the future, especially when the exact period of time is given. when we know the time of the activity when another shorter activity happened during the one we are describing. now he arrives I will be doing my homework from 3 to 6 o'clock tomorrow // at 5 o'clock next Sunday // when he arrives

8 FUTURE PERFECT will have V3
Result we expect to have by a certain time in the future. We use this tense only when there are two “markers” : by (which means Perfect) and next…/tomorrow (which means Future) I hope we will have finished the composition by 4 o'clock tomorrow evening.

9 FUTURE PERFECT CONTINUOUS will have been Ving
