2. History of MacFarlane Pheasants Family owned and operated for 2 generations since 1929 In the 1960’s MacFarlanes started exporting birds Employs 30 full time and 20 part time employees MacFarlane’s has 3 divisions: Mature Birds, Day-Old Chicks, & Dressed Products

3. Mature Pheasants & Partridges In 2011, MacFarlanes will deliver over 330,000 live mature pheasants & 90,000 live partridges; 55,000 of the birds are delivered to Canada Mature pheasants & partridges are delivered from the end of August until March

4. MacFarlane’s Fleet Our fleet consists of 11 vehicles used for deliveries & 7 additional support vehicles Kenworth & Freightliner trucks deliver mature birds in the fall and winter months During April thru August, temperature controlled reefer boxes are installed on our chick delivery vehicles

5. Day-Old Chicks & Eggs In 2011, MacFarlanes hatched over 1.4 million chicks and sold over 200,000 eggs Countries we exported to in 2011: Canada, Denmark, Italy, France, England, & Tajikistan Chicks are shipped nationwide thru Priority Mail, customers receive them within 2 days

Dressed Products 3 rd Party Certified All Natural Nationwide purveyor to Whole Foods, approximately 300 grocery stores Our pheasant was served at President Obama’s inaugural luncheon Nationwide network of distributors We have large market penetration in all major metropolitan markets Our only export market at this time for food products is Mexico
