12 SAT all Juniors take the PSAT in October. The required portion of the SAT is divided into 3 multiple choice subject tests. 1. Math 2. Verbal 3. Writing (includes and essay) Each portion earns up to 800 points. A perfect score is a 2400

13 ACT all Juniors take in March The required portion of the ACT is divided into four multiple choice subject tests: 1. English 2. Math 3. Reading 4. Science Each of these subject test scores range from 1 to 36 The composite score is the average of all four tests A prefect score is 36

25 Choices and consequences It is unfortunate that this new era of technology requires us to be careful of what we say or do, even in environments we might consider safe. Will colleges look at you Facebook site when they decide acceptance and scholarships? You-bet-cha

26 Respect Respect for individual and school property. The respect and dignity of each individual will be observed. Good manners and common courtesy will be expected from everyone.

27 Cell phone and electronic device policy Absolutely no electronic devices on your body in in this room. MP3 players too. Put in box on my desk before class You will get: Prizes Points Treats First in line

28 Stuff… Backpacks, purses, books and any other personal items will be stored on or under the counter. Every day…each day… Coats and jackets You wear them or store them on the counter.

29 No food or Drink In this classroom at any time. However a water bottle with a cap on, at your table is permitted

30 Supplies for this class Necessary supplies for this class will be stored in your class-table box. The only supplies you need: 1. something to write with 2. one pack of all purpose blank paper

31 Bathroom & water breaks? There will be no bathroom and water breaks during this class. Bathroom breaks should be taken before class. Plan ahead. You may have bottled water in this class…so plan ahead.

32 Tardy? Tardy policies will be strictly enforced. 3 rd tardy =ISS for this class 4 th tardy =your name will be turned in for a full day of ISS 5 th tardy =2 hours of Saturday school.

33 Absents Absents policies will be strictly enforced. You only get 5 days FIVE!!! You go over & do not make up the seat time You fail this class. make up time? with me, 90mins=90mins Sat. School 60mins = 90mins

34 You are here to learn Students are expected to come to class prepared to learn each day.
