2  Write the definition in your planner.  “I have chosen to come to class properly dressed, headgear removed, and electronics turned off and put away. I will also have my planner, visible student ID, writing utensil, and other supplies required by my teacher. P reparation Learn the definition of the word by using it by rewriting it in your own words or draw a picture of what it looks like. 1 st Period

3 P reparation Pair Up  With your desk partner, use what you learned last period by brainstorming examples of what preparation looks like in the classroom, on campus, at games or assemblies. Share  Decide on how you and your partner are going to share your information with the class. (i.e. drawing, scenario, summary) 2 nd Period

4 P reparation  Quick Write  What have you learned about preparation today?  Turn and tell your desk partner.  Write down what your partner said.  Class discussion. 3 rd Period

5 P.R.I.D.E. Matrix  Take a moment and look over the PRIDE matrix and become familiar with its set-up.  What word did you learn about today in all of your classes?  Questions? Enrichment
