1 Summer Camp for Thai Students Start Date : March 16, 2009 Duration: 60 Days End Date : May 15, 2009

2 Subjects Covered Foundation Course English Foundation Course Maths Foundation Course Information Technology Intensive course in any one of the above

3 Detailed Program The program is designed to be completed in 8 weeks. Students will be given a comprehensive knowledge in spoken English, English Grammer, Group Discussions with fellow English speaking student of NMS in interesting topic such as current affairs, sports, movies etc. Students will also be given a vast foundation course of mathematical skills along with various quiz, worksheets etc. In Information Technology, student will be introduced to a range of knowledge and skills that students in India learn till age 18 in schools. And any one of these the students can take a accelerated program based on their interest and performance.

4 Week Day Schedule 5 Hours study in a day 1 Hour Supervised Games 5 days in week Study Material will be provided by NMS.

9 JAIPUR The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is color washed pink-the color associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. Built in 1727 A.D. by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, Jaipur displays a remarkable harmony and architectural splendor. The ancient heart of the Pink City still beats in its fairy-tale palaces, rugged fortresses perched on barren hills and broad avenues that dot the entire city. The only planned city of its time, Jaipur is encircled by a formidable wall.

10 Hawamahal - Palace of Winds Built in 1799 AD is the most recognizing monuments of Jaipur. It’s a semi-octagonal monument having 152 windows with overhanging latticed balconies. 11 Amber Fort High on the rugged hills outside of town sits ancient forts, including Amber (often called the Amber Fort), where the Jaipur royal house held court for seven centuries. Visitors ridding painted elephants can ascend to the fort to see magnificent gateways, courtyards, pavalions, and a glittering chamber of inlaid mirrors Elephant Safari Ascend the hill to Amber fort on the back of Elephant. 12 Jaigarh Fort is yet another example of medieval architecture in Rajasthan. Built atop a hill, the Jaigarh fort gives a magnificent view of Jaipur city Nahargarh Fort Situated on the rugged ridge of Aravali Hills, Nahargarh Fort is situated to the north of Jaipur. Built in 1734 by Sawai Jai Singh II, it was extended in 1868. The fort is also known as Tiger Fort and was built to further enforce the defense of Amber. 14 Central Museum situated in Ram Niwas Garden and it houses a large collection archeological and hadicraft pieces. Jal Mahal a small palace set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. 15 Agra Taj Mahal – An extravagant marble monument of love. Taj Mahal is generally considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements of Persian, Turkish, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles. 16 Agra Continues… Fatehpur Sikri (The city of Victory), preserved walled imperial city. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendor at its height. The sunset over the ruins is sight to cherish. FATEHPUR SIKRI BULAND DARWAZA

18 Udaipur continues… The City Palace A majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hill surrounded by crenellated walls, it is a conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. The Vintage Car Collection The collection comprises a variety of classic & interestingly rare transportation vehicles; some stately & vintage like Cadallas, Chevrolet, Morais etc., while the others are sleek & fast. Crystal Gallery in the Fateh Prakash Palace houses breath taking collection of crystals.

19 Udaipur continues… Sajjan garh - The Monsson Palace- Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary is situated 5kms in the West of tourist city Udaipur, which surrounds the Sajjangarh Palace overlooking Udaipur City. Ghanghaur Ghat -This is a very congenial old building built right on the waterfront of Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Amir Chand Badwa, the Prime Minister of Mewar built it in the eighteenth century. Shilp Gram - The Craft Village living ethnographic museum depicting the enormous diversities in craft, art & culture Shilpgram comprises 26 huts set in 70 acres of natural surroundings at the foot of the Aravali Hills. 20 Udaipur continues… MAHARANA PRATAP Moti Magri -Maharana Pratrap Memorial - An impressive bronze statue of Maharana Pratap and his favorite and loyal horse, who was fiercely protective about his master and stood by him till his last breath, stands at the top of Moti Magri (Pearl Mount) overlooking Fateh Sagar. The Sahelion - ki - Bari This small ornamental garden was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and hence the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools, chiselled kiosks and marble elephants. SAHELION KI BARI

21 Puskar Situated on the fringe of the desert and surrounded by hills on three sides, Pushkar is a laid back town. A very important pilgrimage spot for Hindus, Pushkar is famous for its lake. It is believed that Lord Brahma set out on a quest for a tranquil spot to perfom a yagna (ceremonial sacrifice) when a lotus fell from his hand. Brahma Temple built in the 14th century standing on a high platform near Pushkar Lake. 22 RANTHAMBORE Ranthambore National Park is in Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan state. Located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range, this is one of the finest places to view animals, especially as they are used to being stared at here. The park covers an area of Approximately 400 sq Km and if combined it with the area of Sawai Man Singh sanctuary area, it is around 500 Sq km. Ranthambore national park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957 and in 1974 it gained the protection of "Project Tiger". It got it's status of a National Park in 1981.

23 RANTHAMBORE Safari Morning and Evening Visit to Fort & Temple The soaring Serpent eagles, vultures and other birds can be seen at eye level. Many animals can also be seen along the edges of all the water bodies, which are all visible from here. The fort itself also offers many interesting architectural and historical sights worth viewing and photographing.
