2 Instructions for Cleaning the Filter 1. Turn off your NEC projector by flipping the power switch on the back of the device. Unplug the projector's power cord. 2. Locate the projector's filter, located on the back right corner of the device. Lift the filter up and out of the device by its grooved edge. Depending on the model, the filter may pull up or out. 3. On the sponge-like filter, use a soft-bristled brush or flick the dust with your finger into a trashcan to remove any lint and dust from both sides of the filter. 4. Place the filter back into your NEC projector, plug in the device's power cord and power on the projector. The filter will only slide back into the projector if it is properly aligned. 5. Go to next slide for resetting the projector so the Clean Filter message no longer appears.
