8 Results Moved from inter-agency consultative meeting to a mechanism for providing coherent and coordinated support to African regional and sub regional organizations Beneficiaries-AU, NEPAD Secretariat, and RECs - now part and parcel of the mechanism, from what initially started as a UN affair ‘Delivering as One’ concept gained increased acceptance with UN agencies rethinking their way of working to move to a more collective approach

9 Issues for Consideration RCM should be placed within UN architecture and linked to HLCP –Facilitate greater institutional commitment, buy-in, leadership Develop business plan for RCM; clusters should submit their respective business plans for consolidation African regional and subregional organizations should designate focal points to different clusters RCM Secretariat to operate like a full fledged SecretariatDedicate resources from members in support of RCM Secretariat to operate like a full fledged Secretariat
