6 What are Nationals 4 and 5? 4 National 4s-what do they involve? –Internal Units-all must be passed –Assessed by your teachers –There has to be ‘evidence of learning’ such as e- portfolios, presentations, diaries, portfolio etc –In some courses there is an ’Added Value Unit’ must be completed-an extra assignment 4 National 5s-what do they involve? –Internal Units must be passed –There has to be ‘evidence of learning’ such as e- portfolios, presentations, diaries, portfolio etc –Assessed by your teachers –Pass external course exam –Course Assessments may include assignments e.g. projects, reports, folio of work etc – See Nutshell docs
