Very cross-sectoral, close cooperation between DG Env, other DG’s, Eurostat Two studies to being carried out - inventory of national policies on resources, and a pilot study with analysis of two resource streams (eg. timber and non-ferrous metals)

5. EEA/ETC involvement to date Assistance to DG Env in 2002 : “Zero study” completed, analyzing resource use patterns in EU15 and AC13, and proposing methodological framework Eurostat MFA methodology was used, based on 2001 Eurostat MFA guide
