Samuel Merritt University faculty and staff are required to access multiple Sutter Health information technology systems during the course of their work at the University.
It can be confusing to keep track of multiple URLs, usernames and passwords, but SMU’s Information Technology Department has created one centralized webpage where you can access all of the various sites/applications:
You will need your Sutter user name and password in order to access these sites. If you are a new hire, your ESS account may take up to one week to become active.

Lawson: Employee self-service portal
Ascend: Employee expense reimbursement platform
MyBenefits: Online resource for benefits information and enrollment
PolicyStat: Online repository of official Sutter Health and SMU policies
MyHire/MyPSDP: Sutter Health Performance Success & Development Process site (performance review platform)
HealthStream: Online training and compliance platform
Live Well for Life: Sutter Health employee wellness program portal
MySutter: Sutter Health employee intranet
