21 Why Tool Vending? Daily operations, typically includes a wide variety of articles being ordered, which often enables employees the ability to order from different suppliers, which leads to a considerable amount of paperwork and effort for ordering, confirmations and billing. This situation calls for optimization! The Keeper provides relief from routine tasks, guarantee the constant availability of stored items and contribute to a general reduction in costs. Articles with a high turnover rate, such as end-mills and inserts that should be available within 24 hours, deserve particular attention. The Keeper offers a comprehensive range of automatic tool dispensers. Due to the large variety of different systems available, the demands of individual customers can be fulfilled.

22 Benefits The benefits of the Air-Vend System are that it offers more accurate usage tracking, personal costs savings, and reduced number of trips for delivery. When inventory levels of tools fall below the reorder point, automatic s can be sent to the purchasing department to ensure an order is placed. This will insure that the machine is restocked in a timely manner so that the tools are available to the employees. Tracking the employee that uses each tool is another benefit that the customer will realize. The employee is required to enter their ID, password and optional job number before the machine will dispense a tool. An administrator is able to view reports of vending machine activity.
