Anything that needs administered needs to be in a named box or zip lock bag with the medical form inside with details
Handed to Miss Catlow at the same time as the money – right before getting on the bus
Medical form to be done in advance
Personal first aid kit can be kept in their rucksack/suitcase

Lunch: Children get to make as many sandwiches as they want – choice of fillings, Biscuits Crisps
Supper:

Snack (sometimes cake, biscuits, fruit etc)

8. Shop
There is a shop on site where they can buy sweets and mementos etc. This will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to the children after dinner.
We recommend as a guide no more than £10, preferably in change, and they could take £2/£3 a night and spend what is left on the last night.
The money will be THEIR RESPONSIBILITY, so please no more than £10 and take in a small purse or wallet.

10. Day 1 - Monday Be at school for 9.15am sharp Bus leaves at 9.30am
Bring medicine in a sealed, named plastic bag and money
All children to bring a packed lunch with them.
Travel to Abernethy
Arrive and settle in rooms
Free Time
Packed lunch in dining hall
Get ready for afternoon activities – meet in Theatre
1.30/2.00pm meet at dry ski slope
Children’s equipment will be ready based on the weight and height information we have received
Children to become familiarised with ski equipment and skiing techniques
Evening – Dinner
Explorers Programme (1 hour)
Supper
Free Time
Bed Time

11. Day 2, 3 and 4 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Typically breakfast at 8.15am – TBC
After breakfast make their own packed lunch
9am leave for skiing – on bus to best place for skiing that day.
Arrive back about 4pm.
4.30pm is the supervised swim time – expected to take part
6pm – dinner (TBC)
6.45pm – shop time
7pm – Free Time
7.30pm – Explorers Programme

12. Day 5 - Friday There are no activities planned for Friday
Children to pack up and tidy rooms
Leave on the bus for Insch
Aim to arrive around 11.30am.
Parents to pick their children up from school around this time. Text message will be sent from Huntly.
Should there be any delays due to traffic, Miss Catlow will contact Insch and parents will be notified as soon as possible. Please be flexible on this day.
