Content addresses industry updates, expert tips or best practices and company news from the perspective of a brand. According to one study, businesses that blog get an average of 55% more traffic on their websites than those who don’t.

*Covers your company news but news of the industry in general. A corporate blog is place for a business to consistently share its thoughts and opinions regarding the industry. The key here is to be a trusted resource in a particular topic.

Do not, however, ask people to buy something at the end of a post. Hard sells in blog posts will lose your readers’ trust.
