Your trusted partner for the complete digital workplace transformation Advisory & Transformation Professional Operational Having built the high level roadmap, our HPE Services for Office 365 cover all the key phases necessary to ensure a successful outcome. The relevant elements can be assembled to meet each specific situation and form the tailored solution that fits best. Some of the work in main phases is shown here Office 365 Strategy and Planning In the early stages we work with the client to determine the best overall strategy and to then through actives like our workshop exercise, identify the main business, functional, and technical requirements. The result is an outline project plan which then forms the basis of the next steps. Office 365 Assessment The assessment work looks in detail at the current environment, user practices, infrastructure, etc. to establish the starting point and this will typically identify additional gaps that need to be reflected in the project plan. Office 365 Hybrid Design and Deployment Then we complete the full technical design covering the on premise requirements and the interfaces to the Office 365 cloud service as well as ensuring that the overall network connectivity meets the required levels. Office 365 Migration The migration itself involves a number of stages including setting up a test environment to validate the design, then a pilot group tests the design in production mode. Finally, when all aspects have been demonstrated to work as expected, the main migration process begins. This is achieved through a combination of onsite and remote teams who automate much of the migration work. Office 365 Operations Advisory To finish off the core service we provide guidance on how best to operate the new environment User Adoption Services To compliment the core service, our Education Services team provide services that address the ‘soft’ aspects of technology changes to ensure all the users are comfortable with the new environment and use it effectively. This is typically a combination of a management of change program coupled with specific user training. Office 365 Support Last but not least we provide support services to ensure the ongoing performance and reliability of the new solution. HPE can provide direct support for all the on premise aspects and can liaise with Microsoft for the cloud part to ensure any issues are quickly identified and resolved. The risk is not in the technology
30% process 60% people Many transformations are focusing primarily on implementation of new technology, integrations of different systems and processes such as migration methodology and robust project plan. Those are definitely important aspects of the transformation moving the project towards its success, but not as important as the proper management of change handling interaction of the transformation project with the people who are using those technologies to do their everyday work. In last couple decades the HPE saw too many projects where organizations put emphasis on the technology and process and left people unaware, without proper communication and adoption. Those projects typically bring questionable outcomes, poor user satisfaction and unhappy stakeholders. Even when the initial investment plan for the implementation of the new technology could be clear and without debate, the incorrectly handled management of change can damage the organization willingness to adopt it and endanger similar future investments. HPE believes that any Digital Workplace transformation including the messaging platform transformation should be viewed from the perspective of 60/30/10 perspective. We believe that about 60% of the risk for the transformation project success is in ability to properly communicated the project goals, expected changes and outcomes with the people who are affected by project. Those people need to be provided at the right time with right information about the transformation process and need to be trained for the implemented technology to be able to quickly adapt. The well design transformation process including deployment and migration plan is typically only 30%, and the technology represented by a product or a cloud service capabilities is usually only 10% of the overall project success. The third phase is to enable Office 365 as a shared service for all of you - our countries. The last phase is to migrated our non-owned car dealers to Office 365 in Austria.
