1 Website analysis.

2 Everything 5 pounds (http://www.everything5pounds.com/)
This website sells clothes, (very obviously) at a low price of £5, it sells everything from clothing, to accessories to shoes, it even covers children's clothes, toys and much more. Furthermore, this website also makes it easy for the consumer to get around the website accessibly making it very professional. This website uses the ‘z’ reading format, making it very eye grabbing.

3 This website is automatically appealing, the website is cut into different sections so it is very easily accessible. Furthermore, the website is overall very eye catching and fun. It makes me as part of a young audience want to purchase from this website. They have a very wide range of clothing too.

4 The website is known from the name that the clothing is 5 pounds per item, meaning that it is very affordable for students to look glam at a low price. Students can easily dress up for a party, giving the eye catching look at a happy price!

5 Demographics: This website would be attracted to both male and female, at a younger age of students from 18+ who are looking at a cheaper range of clothes. In terms of socio-economic status, it would be the C2DE’s, who are a lower earning group. Psychographics I love how the website takes a range over different things, like menswear, childrenswear, toys etc, furthermore I also love how the webpage is mainly white so there aren’t too many colours going on at once. This webpage would be great for any kind of student who are looking to fill their house with nice things and clothes, or even get pretty clothes online at a cheap price, who also feel much better shopping from online as it is different.

6 The iNDEPENDENT (http://www.independent.co.uk/)
This website is highly formal news that is addressed to a older audience of around 50+, it is a very professional webiste that is also a newspaper. This website probably wouldn’t be used as much as the main newspaper, however the news is still consumed by the target audience. From this we can see that they hold a lot of news on the webpage as the side bar scrolls down quite a bit.

7 Examples of use of language
As we can see, the main story is larger than the rest, that is also formed into a video too to make it more highly noticed. From the typography we can see that it is very formal. And a younger form of audience wouldn’t be particularly interested in this news website as such.

8 From the top scroll bar that is cut into different sections, there are many different groups of news that they have made it easier to get to the certain part of news the individual consumer would want to read. From this side bar you can easily get around the news website to the certain bit you want to get too.

9 Demographics: This website would be particularly suitable for both genders and would aim at a target age of maybe 50 years old +, or maybe lower dependent on the person. The socio-economic status would be ABC1’s who are a higher earning group. Psychographics: Ideally, to like this website, you’d have to be really intersted in news and take it as a hobby to keep updated daily/hourly etc, and who would like to read a long story of news rather than a brief, very short part of the news from a website like CBBC, or in a lot of cases, BBC.
