Name: _____________________ Letters of the week: s, v Practice handwriting of the uppercase and lowercase letters of the week using rainbow writing. Draw or find pictures that start with the letters of the week in the format of a mind map. Dictate the following words to your child. Have them try and sound out the word and write the sounds in the order that they hear them in the word. (bat, pot, sat, hot, not)

High Frequency Words   New HFW: you, be, at Name: ____________________ Choose 6 of the High Frequency Words we have earned so far and write them on index cards. You will need 2 cards for each word. Play memory matching with your child and have them practice saying each word as they flip it over. Tell me who won! Play tic-tac-toe with two of the high frequency words of the week. Player 1 writes one word and Play 2 writes the other words, instead of X’s and O’s. Play on this paper. Write 2 sentences with the words of the week and vocabulary cards of the week.
