7,000+ students and growing 1,700 students live on-campus 85+ student clubs and organizations -80% of FTF applicants were admitted -Admission rate increased by about 2% 1 of the top 10 safest campuses in the United States

3 Final admission is based on:
Getting Started Admission Requirements Provisional admission was based on self-reported information on your application Final admission is based on: High school graduation by June 2018 Completing the a-g coursework with a C- or better by graduation Meeting the minimum eligibility index

4 Enrollment Requirements
Failure to meet any deadline will result in your admission being cancelled even if you have: - Attended orientation - Submitted a housing deposit - Received a financial aid award

5 Intent to Enroll Step 1: Accept our Offer of Admission
Step 2: Register for Orientation Step 3: Pay the $175 Orientation Fee Non-refundable Deferment available based on EFC ALL 3 STEPS MUST BE COMPLETED IN ORDER TO SECURE A SPOT AT CI FOR FALL 2018 Contact us at least one week before May 1, 2018 if you have any questions. go.csuci.edu/AdmittedFreshmen

7 Orientation If you do not attend, arrive late, or leave during any portion of the program, your admission will be withdrawn and you will need to reapply for the next available term. Receive academic course information from Academic Advisors Learn about academic expectations from faculty within your discipline Meet fellow classmates and student leaders Learn about programs, services and timely campus information Find out how to get involved and maximize the CI experience Collect CI gear and eat your first CI meal Receive a campus tour and learn campus traditions, including the ritual of "Becoming a Dolphin" Applied Physics Biology Chemistry Computer Science Environmental Science and Resource Management Health Science Information Technology Mathematics Mechatronics Engineering Pre-Nursing Undeclared

8 Final Transcript Deadline:
Final Transcripts Final Transcript Deadline: Friday, July 13, 2018 It is your responsibility to order transcripts Official electronic transcripts are preferred Must be official and sealed when received Can be mailed or hand delivered Faxed transcripts, printouts, and s are not accepted Graduation date MUST be on transcript If you took courses at a community college, you must send official transcripts from them Official AP exam scores are due by this date Order 2 transcripts: 1 for CI and 1 for your own records

9 Early Start Allows students to begin working towards college readiness during the summer Can be taken at any CSU campus—formats vary Register early! Classes fill up quickly Refer to your Enrollment Guide for who is required to attend. 10 Early Start Deadline to register for Early Start is: July 2
Deadline to pay for Early Start is: July 5 -As a first-year freshman, you will be placed in a math and written communication course that matches your level of preparation. Some students may be required to participate in a developmental math or English program, known as Early Start, over the summer. -Deadline to register for Early Start classes is July 2, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. -Deadline to pay for Early Start classes is July 5, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
