1 Are you a Treasure Seeker?
Find a treasure you want to complete. Research the treasure. You may use the internet, a dictionary, an encyclopedia, etc. When you are ready, submit it to your teacher using the following format: Name Treasure Number Task (answer, drawing, explanation, etc.) Your paper must be written neatly and spelled correctly. Some treasure requires the teacher’s help. When ready, submit a paper asking to complete the specific treasure number. If your treasure is correct you will get to put a sticker on your treasure box. Once you fill up your treasure box, you will receive a special Treasure Seeker prize!!! Please note – Becoming a Treasure Seeker is for your own personal benefit. It does not increase grades on your report card.

Give 2 examples each of alliteration, personification, simile, metaphor, and onomatopoeia. Count to 20 in Spanish. Count to 20 in French. Use sign language to “sign” the alphabet. “Stretch” this sentence: The dog barked.

5 Math Treasure Draw the lines of symmetry for the capital alphabet.
Compute the area for a rectangle with the side lengths of 4 in. and 6 in. Show the drawing. Measure the length of your foot. What is the difference between your foot and an actual foot? Write in Roman Numerals up to 100. Name 5 famous mathematicians. Create your own math game with rules and pieces. Earn 100% in 2 minutes on an addition fact test .
