answers the questions “to whom?” tells who is the indirect receiver of the verb’s action

3 Ejemplos me Ejemplo: Él me habló español. (He spoke Spanish to me.)
To whom did he speak? me

4 Ejemplos Te (you) Ejemplo: ¿Te dio un boleto? (He gave you a ticket?)
To whom did he give the ticket? Te (you)

Me (me) Nos (us) Te (you) Le (him, her, formal you) Les (them, you all)

6 Indirect Object Pronoun
¡Importante! Indirect object pronouns ALWAYS go before the verb. Ejemplo: Él me da dinero. (He gives me money.) Indirect Object Pronoun verb

7 “le” and “les” Since “le” and “les” can refer to different people, they are often used with a prepositional phrase.
