7 Manurewa Local Board funded a communications person to complete all the written comms, set up Facebook and assist at all events. Wiri Board took over some of the day to day management e.g. budget and attended all events and public meetings BID managers: I would not have made it without the support of Cheryl at Parnell who shared her experiences, Kerry at Manukau who helped with the last minute campaigning in my very small retail area, and Alex from South Harbour who turned up every now and then with lunch and a total belief that I would get everything done in time. Claire and her BID team are always there with an answer to questions Jenne from Jungle Strategy who created all of our communications and was there for many, many more hours than she was paid for. If you are on a BID Board your staff will need support. This will be the hardest task in your association’s history Remember we are all here to help you. YOU ARE NOT ALONE Partnerships
