Agenda
A.) Do Now: Answer the Do Now. Turn and talk with your tablemates. Captains will prepare to share their tablemates’ answers with the whole class.
B.) Discuss/Share:
-Captains will share Do Now answers.
C.) Mini-Lesson: Thematic Essay Outline will be introduced.
D.) Work Period: Brainstorm one full page on the essay question. It should be informal writing to get your ideas flowing. When completed, you may want to begin writing a draft of your essay (following the outline).
E.) Q & A/Reflections: What are your next steps in composing the thematic essay? What assistance/guidance do you need from your teacher or peers to ensure success on this essay?
