3 Classroom Expectations Use of MobyMax.com No Homework except…
Parents and Planners Individual teachers will have expectations for how things run in their classroom. You’ll learn more about this as we go along. We will be using MobyMax.com this year as one of our instructional tools across all subject areas.

4 All visitors must sign in at the office, please bring your photo ID.
We love volunteers! Please join Helping Hands as the best way to regularly assist us or your child’s teacher letting them know your interest. Popping into the classroom is disruptive to the flow of instruction. If you need to bring something to school for your child, please take it to the office and they will get it to us. To avoid children needing to have a forgotten lunch delivered, consider putting $6.00 on your child’s lunch account that can be used for an emergency or a forgotten lunch. Make-up work is given for ill students when they return to school. If you want to have your child’s work the day they are absent, please contact the office or your child’s teachers to make this request by 8am. Per our school protocol, we do not provide work prior to a trip/vacation. Instead, students should expect to receive their missed work when they return to school. Per county policy, students have one day per each day missed to make up missed work. Please know that we will not hunt your child down for make-up work. They need to show initiative in returning what has been provided to them. New this year – no Tylenol in the clinic! Anyone wishing for the nurse to give their child Tylenol for headache, pain, etc. must bring in their own bottle and leave it with Mrs Clegg. Phoenix Gradebook – Earning 4s will be rare – they signify mastery of content AND going above and beyond by answering extension questions. Earning 3s ARE GOOD!  We are using a standards based system, and all the papers you see come home will have numbers on them as the grade. However, there are letter grades on the report card, which are sourced from the number grades for each assignment.
