A Note from Me! c
Happy New Year! As we dive into 2017, I would like to encourage you to continue to have your child read aloud to you each night. Have them make connections, ask questions, visualize and retell the story. These are the types of things that we talk about during Reader’s Workshop.
Before the break, we began our Addition and Subtraction unit. This includes numbers up to 1000! Practicing basic addition and subtraction will be a huge help! If you require some make-shift flash cards, just let me know! I’d be happy to help.
As we continue on with our learning, please come to me with any questions or concerns. I am here to help you!
