6 Rules and Procedures Procedures Breakfast from 8:35-8:50am.
I will listen and follow directions. I will be quiet in class and use a soft voice when I am allowed. I will always keep my hands to myself and use “Hallway Manners” while walking the halls. I will stay seated and raise my hand if I have something to share or ask. I will always be nice to my friends and teachers, and make good choices in school. Procedures Breakfast from 8:35-8:50am. Transition to word study, reading workshop, then prepare for lunch break. After lunch, switch homerooms. Continue academic content in writing and math. Specials at 2:05pm.

7 Homework Homework is given in English and Spanish every day except Fridays. Homework reflects academic content learned in class. If your child is struggling with homework, please provide me with a small note so I am aware.

8 Expectations Everyday is a new day.
Come to class with a smile and be on time. Complete classwork on time. Follow classroom and school rules/procedures. Do all of your homework and bring it back to school the next day. Respect yourself, others, and the school. Just be YOU and always try your best. :)

10 Uniform Policy ALL students are expected to wear their School Uniform everyday. Students should wear clothing that is neat, clean and suitable for the classroom. Proper and safe footwear is required at all times. Head coverings are not permitted unless for religious reasons or for medical purposes. Clothing that could cause damage to any student or school property is not permitted. Undershirts are not to be worn as outer garments.

11 ClassDojo Students earn points for making good choices.
Students lose points for making “not so good” choices. Promotes self-awareness for the student. Promotes a partnership between families and the teacher. I will be posting any school reminders and Words of the Week on our Class Story.

12 Attendance Please send your child to school everyday unless he or she is ill. Absences are excused with proof of legal documentation.
