(11/04) – Saturday Tutoring 9-12 NEXT WEEK: Mon. (11/13) – PTSA Member Jeans Day Wed. (11/15) – Work Place Wednesday Fri. (11/17) – Soccer Game (Costs 5 Panther Paws) If you are not eating, you must read something of your choice. HOMEROOM = SILENCE

2 Language Arts – Warm Up 11/06/17
Flocabulary - Plot First, turn in any work you may have taken home – “The Landlady” packet and/or B.C.R.s. Read each part of the packet before you answer the question. There are tips in these parts that will help you. When you finish, submit your work to the homework bin. If you finish early, you may read independently. Don’t forget – Your I.A.N. check is this Wednesday!

Standard: ELASE6RL3 – Describe how a particular story’s or drama’s plot unfolds in a series of episodes as well as how the characters respond or change as the plot moves toward a resolution. Learning Targets: Define the concept of change through the reading of a narrative. Apply understanding of narrative elements to reading and writing.

“Thank You, Ma’am” SpringBoard p Put the answers to the following questions below in the notes section on page 52. What was the setting? What was the conflict? Who were the main characters? Once you finish, you may read independently.

6 Language Arts – Closing Session 11/06/17
Independent Reading You should be on your FOURTH book of this school year, at least. Your next Biblionasium book review will be due Friday, December 1, 2017. Be sure that you have completed your book before Friday, December 1, 2017! Homework: Check and complete your I.A.N. Your I.A.N. check is Wednesday! Finish any incomplete parts of your plot packet from today. It is due Wednesday.
