2. Your children have made a great start to their GCSE courses.
Much of this will affirm what you already know.

3. Reformed GCSEs
All rests on the final exam with little or no controlled assessment.
Significant increase in subject content with a need to learn facts/quotations/formulae.
In most subjects there is no Foundation/Higher tier.
They are much tougher ‘rigorous’ than previous GCSEs.
