Description of Formative Performance Task: You will analyze the information from Quizlet to understand Louisiana Antebellum period Steps: Once in the computer lab, log on to the desktop computer with student information. Go to Quizlet.com In the search box, type in jessicaguillory and press enter Click on the jessicaguillory tab, Folders tab, Antebellum Louisiana, and then 61 term Antebellum Louisiana Click on Learn tab and follow directions for lesson. Description of Summative Performance Task: You will work with your group to analyze the sources and answer the question using Google slides. You will need to respond to the question and be assessed on your responses. Steps: Go to the following link: Begin by reading the topic question: What were some of the conflicts caused between the Americans and Creoles when forming a new government? This question will guide you as you read. With a partner, read the document given. On a separate sheet of paper, take notes from the link that will help answer the topic question. After taking notes, go to my Blackboard page Click on Class Documents, SAMR Assignment, then Google Slides Type your response in the slide given to you. Summative Performance Task 1 REDEFINITION Topic: What were some of the conflicts caused between the Americans and Creoles when forming a new government? Description of Summative Performance Task: You will use Clips to create a short video that will answer the task question. Steps: You will work with a partner Once you are ready to create, open the Clips app and tap the down arrow button at the top left of the screen. Select New Video. For the first slide, select the T icon at the top left, and create a title that includes the topic of the question. Now, use your voice to record your question. To insert a photo, select photo and take a picture of the item that you want to insert OR upload from the iPad’s camera. To insert a video, select video and record yourself or have a partner record you while you are speaking. When complete, select a Share icon at the bottom right and select Save video. Each person needs to complete a video, now pass ipad to partner Go to my Blackboard page, click on Discussion Board then Antebellum Create Thread and click on “attach file” icon Browse to find your video in the camera roll on the iPad, and submit. Now each student needs to click on two other videos and watch the video. After you watch the video, you need respond by answering the following question, With all these conflicts, what do you think caused the most conflicts?
