1 Never Let Me Go Mind Map Chapter 17-23

2 In the center: Your working thesis statement
In the center: Your working thesis statement. This may or may not change as you begin writing your essay. Make sure it follows the format we took notes on. Main branches: Select 3 literary elements of your choosing to write a claim and find evidence for. If you pick characterization, pick two characters to characterize. If you pick plot, you must discuss at least two of the elements of plot. Keep your thesis statement in mind; the literary elements you pick and the evidence you select should be centered around your thesis statement. If you cannot use the evidence to prove your thesis, then you have the wrong evidence. You must be able to explain how your literary element (which should be present in your evidence) helps to support your thesis. So, you must provide a brief explanation as to how your evidence and literary elements support your thesis. MAKE SURE YOU ARE PICKING LITERARY ELEMENTS YOU ARE CONFIDENT TALKING ABOUT! SELECT EVIDENCE FROM ACROSS THE LAST 7 CHAPTERS – THIS IS YOUR FINAL MIND MAP – you will turn this in to be graded before you begin your essay.
