2 Subjects tell who is doing the action.
Gregorio escucha música. Gregorio listens to music. Subject pronouns replace the subject to avoid repitition. Él escucha música. He listens to music.

Spanish likes to explain gender in its words. So it will be gender specific. Usted (ud.) you all they you he she Ustedes Él Ellos Ellas Ella

4 Tú = you = Usted (informal) (formal)
Friends Respect Family Adults Younger Strangers

5 Ustedes Y’all you all Vosotr@s Only used in Used in Spain & Spain

6 Yo, tú, and Usted cannot be replaced.
One person’s name/thing can be replaced by él or ella. Laura = ella (she) Roberto = él (he) El profesor = él (he)

7 A group of people including yourself can be replaced by: nosotr@s.
Laura, Roberto y yo = nosotros (Laura, Roberto, and I) = we ***____ y yo is ALWAYS

8 A group of people you are talking TO can be replaced by Ustedes or Vosotr@s.
Luisa, Rafeal, y Ud. = Ustedes (only) (Luisa, Rafeal, and you = you all) Marta, Natalia, y tú = ustedes –o- (in Spain)

9 A group of people you are talking ABOUT can be replaced by ELL@S.
Lionel, Rico y Juan= ellos (they) Gabriela, Tina y Gloria = ellas (they)
