3. What Are You Looking For?
“I’m looking for a church that is large and fast growing” (Mt. 7:13-14; Lk. 13:23-24)
“I’m looking for a church like the one I was raised in” (Gal. 1:13-16)
“I’m looking for a church that is conveniently located near my home” (Jn. 4:20-24)

4. What Are You Looking For?
“I’m looking for a church with popular people in it” (1 Cor. 1:26)
“I’m looking for a church that has a dynamic speaker” (1 Cor. 2:1-5)
“I’m looking for a church with friendly people” (Gal. 5:23-25)

5. What Are You Looking For?
“I’m looking for a church that holds to the teaching I believe in” (Rev. 2:14-15)
“I’m looking for a church that has a well- known reputation” (Rev. 3:1)

6. The Lord’s Church Is A Family
We are sons of God (Rom. 8:12-17; Gal. 3:26-27) – a family with a Spirit-led life
We are children of promise (Gal. 4:28- 31) – a family that is free
We are the household of the faith (Gal. 6:10) – a family with a standard

We are the household of God (Eph. 2:19) – a family with a foundation
We are beloved children (Eph. 5:1,8) – a family with a divine example
We are the house of God (1 Tim. 3:15) – a family with a purpose
