3. Our Ever-Changing World
Things come and go; time does not wait for anyone; constant change (Eccl. 3)
Material things get old, loose value (Mt. 6:19)
Life is a vapor (Jas. 3:14)
This world will be gone (2 Pet. 3:10-12)

4. Our Ever-Changing World
What do you posses that isn’t going to perish? What do you have that cannot be taken away?
What can we latch onto that no one can take from us – ever?
We need to learn to hold on to the eternal

5. Hold On To…
The unchanging God (Mal. 3:6; Jas. 1:17) and Christ (Heb. 13:8)
The unshakeable kingdom and church of our Lord (Dan. 2:44; Mt. 16:18; Heb. 12:22-29)
The ever-abiding word of God (Mt. 24:35; 1 Pet. 1:23-24)

6. Hold On To…
The always abiding faith, hope, and love (1 Cor. 13:13; Heb. 6:19; Rom. 8:31-39; 1 Jn. 5:4; Job 19:26-27)
The ever-renewed inward soul of man (2 Cor. 4:16-18)
The never-fading reward of heaven (1 Pet. 1:4; 5:4; 2 Pet. 1:4)

7. Hold On To the Eternal
What are you holding on to? Material things? Things of this life only?
Do you have these six indestructible, eternal things in your life? God and Christ, the church, the Bible, faith-hope-love, a soul right with God, and heaven
