Math Project: Students will be creating an array project to demonstrate one strategy for solving a multiplication equation. Each student will be responsible for bringing in items to complete their array in class. For example, students may use buttons, small pasta, cotton balls, etc. The items will be glued to paper, so please do not send in items you would like to use again. Items are due on Monday 10/8, but can be brought in earlier.
Please make sure your child completes 45 minutes of math and 45 minutes of reading lessons each week. We will be taking students to the computer lab each week beginning mid-September and they will be able to complete some of their minutes at that time. Students will receive a classwork grade for math and reading based upon completion of the 45 minutes.
