Architectural Control Committee Summary of 2016 A special Thank You to all of the other members of the committee  Thank You! to all homeowners who took the time and effort to submit applications for review, paint color samples, brochures, drawings and site plot maps (when needed). It takes a little effort from all of us to insure we preserve our unique neighborhood. You have shown that the effort is worth it.

Architectural Control Committee Summary of 2016-continued ACC reviewed 72 applications in 2016 with 89 individual decisions made. Homes painted 21. Most were brown or gray. Preferred paint: Sherwin Williams Preferred siding material: T1-11 for repairs, LP SmartSide for total siding replacement Decks: 50/50 between composite material and wood Fences: All were wood Deck projects to Fence projects 50/50

Architectural Control Committee Summary of 2016-continued Special Projects approved included a room addition, a redesign and replacement roof plus others. Disallowed for color: 11 projects total 3 homeowners account for 9 of the 11 disallowed colors. Even with guidance and recommendations, they kept submitting similar color samples. Other disallowed projects include vinyl fences and corrugated PVC roof over a deck. The ACC could not do it’s job without the support of the Trustees and the homeowners. 13 13

Architectural Control Committee Summary of 2016-continued In 2011, the ACC required and continues to require paint samples on a one foot square of material as on the home or to be used on the home. Indentures require wood tones of tan, brown, cedar, or shades of gray, but not another color with a little gray mixed in. The subdivision furnished the one foot square siding material on request. 14 14

Architectural Control Committee Summary of 2016-continued ACC Plans For 2017 Continue to remind homeowners that any trim around windows and doors cannot be painted white or black. Horizontal and corner trim must be the same color as the home. Homes are getting older and in need of more upkeep. There are more home repair and improvement projects to review every year. Help preserve our neighborhood 15 15

Architectural Control Committee Summary of 2016-continued ACC Plans For 2017-continued Reminder to ALL Residents of Countrylane Woods II A review for Architectural Control should be completed for any exterior home repair or improvement project except planting trees and shrubs This process is in place to prevent homeowners from making mistakes that may end up costing them time and money. Please request permission in advance. Projects done in violation of the subdivision indentures will need to be redone at the homeowner’s expense. 16 16

Replace broken concrete sidewalk sections along parking lot Replace ceiling lights & bulletin boards downstairs in clubhouse Rebuild exterior pool pump building Procure 2017 contract with landscaping company Continue honeysuckle removal activities, seek reimbursement from MO Dept. of Conservation Continue to remind homeowners of clean-up & repair on their yards and homes

2017 Projects - Honeysuckle Update Dexter Hall & Will Armon - Co-chairman Date:  Saturday April 1, :00 am to 12:00 pm (Rain date:  April 8, 2017) Work locations:  Areas to be hit will be limited by the number of volunteers we have.  We made a great start last fall and here's hoping we can continue to work on eradication measures. went out March 5 to prospective volunteers We need young volunteers; high schoolers Preliminary look at some sites indicate no blooms yet on previously treated stumps
