4 4 Countrylane Woods II Reading of Minutes of Preceding Meeting CLWII Homeowners Association Agenda/Meeting Minutes, March 2, 2009 Directors in Attendance: see below H/O in attendance: Approx. 30 Meeting held at Barretts Elementary School Meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m. and adjourned at 8:05 p.m. 1. Trustees/Directors thanked Bob Hutteger for loaning the projector. Louise Weiderman was also thanked for bringing an extra projector in case there were any problems. 6 6 Countrylane Woods II Reading of Minutes of Preceding Meeting 2008 Project Updates—Keith Brown reported  -Proposed volleyball court was found to be too cost prohibitive.  -Playground slide was able to be repaired rather than being replaced.  -Replaced old, rotting bench by tennis court.  -Added donated sand to playground.  -Repaired broken sewer line on ball diamond.  -Replaced cover on lap pool.  -Replaced pool check-in desk.  -Kept pool open 1 hour later on Tues. & Thurs. in July.  -Replaced two wooden pool benches.  -Replaced urinal in men’s restroom.  -Purchased deodorizing equipment for men’s and women’s restrooms.  -Started clubhouse siding & gutter project.  -Replaced broken trapezoid windows in clubhouse.  -Replaced restroom partitions.

23 23 Countrylane Woods II Reports of Committees Architectural Control Committee Summary of 2009-continued Disapproved Applications for Review Exterior Home Repair / Improvement Projects  2 Applications for Color AND Siding. Both were approved for siding material and Both were disapproved for color selection. Color selection by homeowners and approval by ACC pending Other Issues Letters Written to Homeowners  Letters were written to two homeowners regarding structures built on their respective properties. One has been removed and one is in the process of coming into compliance with the subdivision indentures.

24 24 Countrylane Woods II Reports of Committees Architectural Control Committee Summary of 2009- continued Other Issues- continued  A letter was written to a homeowner whose exterior painting was done with a disallowed color and deemed to be in non- compliance with the subdivisions indentures. Repainting is scheduled for this spring.  A letter was written to a homeowner regarding encroachment onto common ground with landscaping. Follow up will be in spring.  Photo Archive of All Homes To Be Updated  A photo archive of the exteriors of all homes in Countrylane Woods II was conducted in 2006. Taking updated photos of completed (approved) home repair projects should occur this spring.

25 25 Countrylane Woods II Reports of Committees Architectural Control Committee Summary of 2009-continued Reminder to ALL Residents of Countrylane Woods II  A Review for Architectural Control Should be Completed for Any Exterior Home Repair or Improvement Project except planting trees and shrubs  This quick and painless process is in place to prevent a homeowner from making mistakes that may end up costing them time and money.  Pleases ask for permission in advance.  Do not ask for forgiveness after the fact  Projects done in violation of the subdivision indentures will need to be redone at the homeowner’s expense.

40 40 Countrylane Woods II Unfinished/New Business 2009 Lawsuit Update  Trial was suspended pending a by-law vote as ordered by the Judge. Copies of the current bylaws as well as those proposed by the plaintiffs were sent to all homeowners of record.  An explanation meeting was held on April 2nd at Carmen Trails School to explain both sets of bylaws. The meeting was chaired by the respective party’s attorneys.

41 41 Countrylane Woods II Unfinished/New Business 2009 Lawsuit Update  Revised copies of the proposed bylaws as well as the current bylaws were mailed to homeowners of record along with a ballot. A “For” vote signified approval of the proposed bylaws and an “Against” vote signified approval of the current bylaws. The ballots could be mailed in or brought in person to the clubhouse no later than June 4th, 2009.

42 42 Countrylane Woods II Unfinished/New Business 2009 Lawsuit Update  The results of that vote were tabulated by City and Village Tax Office. Results: 84 votes “For” 219 vote “Against” 28% “For” 72% “Against” 28% “For” 72% “Against”  The results were submitted to the Court  The defendants filed for a motion for summary judgment  The judge ordered both parties to file their findings and points of law. (September)  We are awaiting the Judge’s decision
