COPY WHOLE SLIDE Human Computer Interface (HCI) This is the way the computer and its user communicate A good HCI should be user friendly e.g. a WIMP system – Windows, Icons, Menus, Pointer

11 COPY WHOLE SLIDE Graphical User Interface (GUI) – this lets the user work with icons and a mouse rather than text Toolbar – on screen buttons or icons that you click on to activate certain functions of a program.
