11 Homework Homework builds responsibility, self- discipline, and good time management skills. I encourage your student to do his/her work on time, but I will accept assignments up to one week after the due date. Late work will be marked down as follows: One day late = no penalty. Two or more = 10% deduction

12 What should I do when my child is absent?
Absences Check my classroom web page. Send me an and I will be happy to gather your student’s work and put it in the main office for you to pick up after school. What should I do when my child is absent? Students are allowed one day per each day absence to complete and turn in assignment Students are responsible for checking the calendar and absence folder for any work they missed once they return to school Absence (Illness) Students/parents must request homework five days prior to absence. Projects, quizzes, and test must be turned in/taken before the student leaves. Make-up work is due the first day of return See course syllabus for more details regarding pre-planned absences (pre-planned)
